VINEYARD OF THE YEAR

On April 29th, the California State Fair announced Deaver Vineyards as the Vineyard of the Year for 2013. This is a prestigious honor that has humbled the Deaver family. Since settling in Amador County in September of 1852, the Deaver family has been grape growers and farmers. In the early 1960's the Deaver grapes were purchased for what would become one of the biggest and most influential wines of the era, the White Zinfandel. To this day, the Deaver family continues to grow grapes of the highest caliber and produce some of the best Zinfandels in California.

DOUBLE GOLD WINNER!

On January 6, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition released the results of their 2012 competition. We entered four of our 2008 Zinfandels and were extremely pleased with the results:
DOUBLE GOLD - 2008 Amador County Zinfandel
SILVER - 2008 Old Vine 1867 Zinfandel
SILVER - 2008 Henry's House Zinfandel
SILVER - 2008 Signature Zinfandel
